Privacy and tracking checklist

Privacy and tracking checklist

Before using Pipeline On on a customer-facing website, make sure your tracking, privacy, and follow-up practices match your legal obligations.

This article is general setup guidance, not legal advice. Ask your legal advisor if you are unsure.

Website disclosures

Your privacy policy should explain that your website may use cookies, pixels, scripts, and similar technologies for analytics, advertising measurement, visitor identification, attribution, and follow-up marketing.

It should also describe that website activity may be associated with contact, business, household, or service-area information where permitted by law.

Privacy choices

If required for your business or visitor location, provide a privacy choices link such as:

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

or:

Your Privacy Choices

If your site uses a cookie banner or consent manager, configure it so Pipeline On runs only in the way your policy allows.

Some consent tools may block the ID tag until the visitor accepts cookies. That can reduce recovered lead volume.

Browser privacy signals

Your site should honor applicable browser privacy signals, opt-outs, deletion requests, and suppression requests where required.

Follow-up compliance

Use recovered leads responsibly. Make sure email, SMS, phone, postcard, and CRM follow-up comply with applicable laws and platform rules.
