Install the Pipeline On ID tag

Install the Pipeline On ID tag

The Pipeline On ID tag is the script that lets Pipeline On detect eligible website visits and recover homeowner leads.

The Tracking section shows the public tracking key and allowed origins for a site. Use the install flow or Copy button to grab the value you need before publishing site changes.

Before you start

You need access to your website, tag manager, or CMS. If someone else manages your site, send them the tag from your Pipeline On install page.

Install steps

  1. Open Pipeline On.
  2. Go to the install page for your site.
  3. Copy the full ID tag exactly as shown.
  4. Paste it into your website header, global custom-code area, or tag manager.
  5. Publish the website changes.
  6. Return to Pipeline On and check install status.

Where to place it

Install the tag once, globally, so it runs on every public page you want measured. The best location is usually the site header or a global tag manager container.

What not to change

Do not edit the script URL, site ID, or attributes inside the tag. A copied tag should be pasted as-is.

Common platforms

Most customers install through one of these paths:

  • Google Tag Manager: add a Custom HTML tag and fire it on all pages.
  • WordPress: use a header/footer code plugin or your theme's global header area.
  • Webflow: add it in site custom code.
  • Squarespace/Wix/Shopify: use the platform's custom code or pixel area.

After installation

Open your website in a fresh browser tab and visit a few pages. Then return to Pipeline On and check whether the install status has updated.
