What counts as the same domain?
What counts as the same domain?
Pipeline On normalizes common domain variations so the same business website cannot be used across multiple free audit accounts.
Usually the same domain
These usually count as the same website:
example.comwww.example.comhttps://example.comhttps://www.example.comexample.com/contactexample.com/services/ac-repair
The protocol, www, and page path do not create a new free audit.
Subdomains
Subdomains may count as the same website when they are used by the same business.
Examples:
booking.example.comquote.example.comlp.example.comoffers.example.com
If the subdomain is a campaign, booking page, landing page, or website section for the same business, use the same Pipeline On account.
Domains that may be different
Separate domains may need separate approval when they represent different businesses or different legal owners.
Examples:
- Separate franchise owners.
- Separate companies under one agency.
- Separate brands with different websites and billing accounts.
- Acquisition or merger situations where ownership recently changed.
Contact support before creating another account if you are unsure.
Do not work around domain checks
Do not add punctuation, redirect domains, alternate www versions, tracking domains, or temporary landing pages to get another free audit.
Accounts that try to bypass the domain rules may have matching or access paused.
