Understanding hot lead score

Understanding hot lead score

Hot lead scoring helps your team decide which recovered homeowners to work first.

It is a prioritization signal, not a guarantee that the homeowner is ready to book.

What can make a lead hotter

Signals may include:

  • High-intent page visited.
  • Repeat visits.
  • Time on site.
  • Service-area fit.
  • Replacement, quote, emergency, or financing pageviews.
  • Available contact details.
  • Recent activity.

What can make a lead colder

Signals may be lower when:

  • The visit was only to a blog post.
  • The visitor is outside service area.
  • Contact details are incomplete.
  • The page path is low intent.
  • The visitor appears to be an employee, vendor, or competitor.

How to use the score

Use the score to decide:

  • Call now.
  • Send to CSR queue.
  • Send email.
  • Send postcard.
  • Route to manual review.
  • Archive or suppress.

Do not rely only on score

Always check the page visited and service-area fit before calling.

A lower-score lead can still turn into booked work if the page context is strong.
